On behalf of the staff community at Santiam Crossing, thank you for considering our school as a placement for your child. We understand that the journey that has brought your family to consider Santiam Crossing was not the one you planned or wanted. However, what lies ahead is an opportunity for your child to have a fresh start and to begin a journey on a path of healing and growth.

At Santiam Crossing, your child will be in an environment that provides a plethora of what your child needs: calming and beautiful surroundings, a demanding yet nurturing positive peer culture, emotional and therapeutic support, academic support, intellectual challenge, fresh air, healthy food, exercise, and the time to refashion their communication and relationship with their family.

Living in this environment, growth and healing have a chance to happen. Success is not guaranteed, but with patience and a high level of commitment from students, families, and staff, your child will have what they need to thrive.

We have found that the success of our program is directly proportional to the commitment and effort put in by parents and family members. We ask for parent involvement and support through communication as well as participation and attendance in family therapy calls and family weekends.
